It is narrated from Sayyiduna Suhaib Rumi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate during the days of the Battle of Hunayn:“ «اَللّٰهُمَّ بِكَ أُحَاوِلُ . . . . . . الخ» O Allah! I strive with Your help, and I attack with Your help, and I fight with Your help alone.”
