باب لاَ يَحِلُّ دَمُ رَجُلٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ:
Chapter: It Is Not Permissible to Shed the Blood of One Who Declares "There is No God but Allah"
Hadith Number: 2484
اخبرنا يعلى، حدثنا الاعمش، عن عبد الله بن مرة، عن مسروق، عن عبد الله، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "لا يحل دم رجل يشهد ان لا إله إلا الله إلا إحدى ثلاثة نفر: النفس بالنفس، والثيب الزاني، والتارك لدينه المفارق للجماعة".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The blood of a Muslim who professes 'La ilaha illallah (Muhammadur Rasulullah)' is not lawful, except in three cases: a life for a life, a married person who commits adultery, and one who leaves the religion and separates from the community (apostate)."
