باب في أَخْذِ الْجِزْيَةِ مِنَ الْمَجُوسِ:
Chapter: Taking Jizya from the Magians
Hadith Number: 2537
اخبرنا محمد بن يوسف، حدثنا ابن عيينة، عن عمرو، عن بجالة، قال: سمعته يقول:"لم يكن عمر اخذ الجزية من المجوس حتى شهد عبد الرحمن بن عوف ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اخذها من مجوس هجر".
Bajalah said: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) did not take jizya from the Magians until Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) testified that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had taken jizya from the Magians of Hajar.
