باب في الذي يَنْتَمِي إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ:
Chapter: Claiming Lineage to Other Than One’s Masters
Hadith Number: 2565
حدثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم، حدثنا هشام الدستوائي، حدثنا قتادة، عن شهر بن حوشب، عن عبد الرحمن بن غنم، عن عمرو بن خارجة، قال: كنت تحت ناقة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فسمعته، يقول: "من ادعى إلى غير ابيه، او انتمى إلى غير مواليه، رغبة عنهم، فعليه لعنة الله، والملائكة، والناس اجمعين، لا يقبل منه صرف ولا عدل".
Sayyiduna Amr bin Kharijah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was near the camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I heard him say: "Whoever, out of dislike, claims to be the son of anyone other than his father, or claims to be the slave of anyone other than his master, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Neither his voluntary deeds nor his obligatory deeds will be accepted."

Hadith Number: 2566
اخبرنا سعيد بن عامر، عن شعبة، عن عاصم، عن ابي عثمان، عن سعد وابي بكرة انهما حدثا: ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم , قال: "من ادعى إلى غير ابيه وهو يعلم انه غير ابيه، فالجنة عليه حرام".
Sayyiduna Sa’d and Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Whoever claims lineage to anyone other than his father, Paradise is forbidden for him.”(That is, whoever attributes himself to someone other than his father will not enter Paradise.)
