باب في النَّهْيِ عَنِ الطِّيبِ إِذَا خَرَجَتْ:
Chapter on the prohibition of perfume when going out
Hadith Number: 2682
اخبرنا ابو عاصم، عن ثابت بن عمارة، عن غنيم بن قيس، عن ابي موسى: "ايما امراة استعطرت، ثم خرجت ليوجد ريحها، فهي زانية، وكل عين زان". وقال ابو عاصم: يرفعه بعض اصحابنا.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him): Any woman who applies perfume and goes out so that people may smell her fragrance, she is an adulteress, and every eye is an adulterer.
Abu Asim said: Some of our elders have narrated this as a marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) narration.
