It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people from the Ansar who were sitting on the road. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“If you must sit here, then guide the one who is lost, return the greeting of peace, and help the oppressed.”

Shu’bah said: Abu Ishaq did not hear this hadith from Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him).
