باب مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنَ الأَسْمَاءِ:
Chapter: Disliked names
Hadith Number: 2731
اخبرنا زكريا بن عدي، حدثنا معتمر، عن الركين، عن ابيه، عن سمرة: ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم"نهى ان نسمي ارقاءنا اربعة اسماء: افلح، ونافع، ورباح، ويسار".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from giving our slaves these four names: "Aflah, Nafi', Rabah, and Najah."
