From the Book of Inheritance
باب مَنْ قَالَ لاَ يُوَرَّثُ:
Chapter on those who say she does not inherit
Hadith Number: 3075
حدثنا جعفر بن عون، حدثنا إسماعيل، عن عامر، قال:"كان علي لا يورث الإخوة من الام، ولا الزوج، ولا المراة، من الدية شيئا". قال عبد الله: بعضهم يدخل بين إسماعيل، وعامر رجلا.
‘Amir (Sha‘bi), may Allah have mercy on him, said: Sayyiduna ‘Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, did not give anything from the blood money as inheritance to the maternal brother, the husband, or the wife. Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: In some narrations, there is one more narrator mentioned between ‘Amir Sha‘bi and Isma‘il.
تخریج الحدیث:
Hadith Number: 3076
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب، عن حماد بن سلمة، عن زياد الاعلم، عن الحسن، قال: "لا تورث الإخوة من الام من الدية".
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Akhiyafi brothers will not be heirs to blood money.
