باب مَنْ قَالَ الْمُدَبَّرُ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ:
Chapter on those who said the mudabbar (slave freed at death) is from the third
Hadith Number: 3305
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A mudabbar slave will be freed only from the one-third (of the estate of the deceased).

Hadith Number: 3306
حدثنا منصور بن سلمة، عن شريك، عن منصور، عن إبراهيم، قال: "المدبر من الثلث".
Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: The mudabbar will be freed from one-third of the wealth.

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A slave who is set free after death will be freed from one third of the wealth.

حدثنا حدثنا سليمان بن حرب، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، عن حميد، عن الحسن، قال: "المعتقة عن دبر وولدها من الثلث".
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A mudabbar slave woman and her child will be freed from one third of the wealth.

حدثنا ابو الوليد، حدثنا شعبة، قال: منصور اخبرني، عن إبراهيم، قال: "المعتق عن دبر من الثلث".
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A mudabbar slave will be freed from one third of the deceased's wealth.

Hadith Number: 3310
حدثنا ابو النعمان، حدثنا حماد بن زيد، عن ابي عبد الله الشقري، وابي هاشم، عن إبراهيم، قال: "المدبر من جميع المال".
Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: A mudabbar slave will be freed from the entire wealth of the deceased.

Hadith Number: 3311
اخبرنا الحكم بن المبارك، انبانا ابو عوانة، عن ابي بشر، عن سعيد بن جبير، قال: "المعتق عن دبر من جميع المال". سئل ابو محمد: بايهما تقول؟ قال: من الثلث.
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A slave who is set free after death will be freed from the entire wealth. The narrator said: Imam Abu Muhammad Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: What is your opinion? He said: He will be freed from one third of the wealth.
