باب مَنْ قَرَأَ مِنْ مِائَةِ آيَةٍ إِلَى الأَلْفِ:
Chapter on one who recites from one hundred to one thousand verses
Hadith Number: 3490
حدثنا ابو النعمان، حدثنا حماد بن زيد، عن سعيد الجريري، عن ابي نضرة، عن ابي سعيد الخدري، قال: "من قرا في ليلة عشر آيات، كتب من الذاكرين، ومن قرا بمائة آية، كتب من القانتين، ومن قرا بخمس مائة آية إلى الالف، اصبح وله قنطار من الاجر، قيل: وما القنطار؟ قال: ملء مسك الثور ذهبا".
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites ten verses at night will be written among those who remember Allah, and whoever recites one hundred verses will be written among the obedient and submissive, and whoever recites from five hundred to one thousand verses will rise in the morning with a qintar of reward. He was asked: What is the amount of a qintar? He said: It is equal to the amount of gold filled in an ox's hide.

Hadith Number: 3491
حدثنا ابو النعمان، حدثنا وهيب، عن يونس، عن الحسن: ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: "من قرا في ليلة مائة آية، لم يحاجه القرآن تلك الليلة، ومن قرا في ليلة مائتي آية، كتب له قنوت ليلة، ومن قرا في ليلة خمس مائة آية إلى الالف، اصبح وله قنطار في الآخرة"، قالوا: وما القنطار؟ قال: اثنا عشر الفا".
It is narrated from Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites one hundred verses at night, the Noble Qur'an will not argue against him that night. And whoever recites two hundred verses at night, for him the prayer and remembrance of the whole night will be recorded. And whoever recites from five hundred to a thousand verses, then in the Hereafter there will be a qintar for him." The people asked: What is a qintar? He said: "Twelve thousand (good deeds)."

Hadith Number: 3492
حدثنا حدثنا ابو نعيم، حدثنا فطر، عن ابي إسحاق، عن ابي الاحوص، عن عبد الله، قال: "من قرا في ليلة ثلاث مائة آية، كتب له قنطار، ومن قرا سبع مائة آية"، لا ادري اي شيء قال فيها ابو نعيم بقوله.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites three hundred verses in the night, a qintar (of reward) is written for him, and whoever recites seven hundred verses, I do not know what he said about him; regarding this, Abu Nu’aim added from himself.
