Humaid Al-A'raj, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Whoever recites the Holy Qur'an and then supplicates, four thousand angels say Ameen to his supplication.

Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I received an invitation and was told, "We invite you to participate in the completion of the Qur'an, because we have heard that supplication is accepted at the time of completing the Qur'an," and they made supplications.

Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If the completion of the Qur’an takes place in the early part of the night, then the angels pray for (the reciter) until morning. And if the completion of the Qur’an happens in the last part of the night, then the angels pray for him until evening. Therefore, if any of us has something left from the completion of the Qur’an, he should delay completing it until evening or morning. Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This narration from Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) is Hasan (good).

Ata bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The bearers of the Qur'an will be monitors (leaders) in Paradise.

Abdul Malik reported that Saeed bin Jubair, may Allah have mercy on him, used to complete the recitation of the Holy Qur'an every other night.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked,“O Messenger of Allah! In how many days should I complete the recitation of the Noble Qur’an?”He said,“In one month.”I said,“I have the strength to do more than that.”He said,“Complete it in twenty-five days.”I said,“I have the strength to do more than that.”He said,“Complete it in fifteen days.”I said,“I have the strength to do more than that.”He said,“Complete it in ten days.”I said,“I have the strength to do more than that.”He said,“Complete it in five days.”I said,“I have the strength to do more than that.”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“Not less than this.”

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade me from completing the Noble Qur'an in less than three days.
