Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Banu Abd Manaf, O Banu Abdul Muttalib! If this matter is entrusted to your care, then do not prevent anyone from performing tawaf of this House of Allah whenever they wish, nor from praying at any time during the night or day." Al-Tabarani says: That is, the two rak‘ahs of tawaf—they may be performed at any time during the day, after the morning prayer before the sun rises, and after ‘Asr before the sun sets.
