Explanation of eating cucumber with dates
Hadith Number: 646
" ورايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يمينه قثاء وفي يساره تمرات، وهو ياكل من هذا مرة وهذا مرة"
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw a cucumber in the right hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and some dates in his left hand. He (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes eat from what was in this hand and sometimes from what was in that hand.
