Hadith Number: 325
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and Tawus says: I think he narrated it as marfu’ (attributed) to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Laith is in doubt. He said: The son of Adam has three hundred and sixty joints, or bones or joints, and on each of them charity is due every day. Every good word is a charity, a man’s helping his brother is charity, and giving a drink of water is charity, and removing something harmful from the road is also charity. Fulfilling the need of providing a complete drink of water in a gathering.
