تقرا بالتشديد والتخفيف بمعنى واحد ما تركك ربك، وقال ابن عباس: ما تركك وما ابغضك".
That is, «ما ودعك ربك وما قلى‏» can be recited both with tashdeed (emphasis) and takhfif (lightly), and the meaning will remain the same, that Allah has not forsaken you. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the meaning is «ما تركك وما أبغضك» , that is, Allah has not forsaken you nor has He become your enemy.
