Mujahid said that by «وزرك‏» are meant those things which were done by the Prophet (peace be upon him) during the time of ignorance (such as leaving what was preferable, etc.). The meaning of «أنقض‏» is "made heavy." «مع العسر يسرا‏» Sufyan bin ‘Uyaynah said its meaning is that with one hardship come two blessings, as in the verse «هل تربصون بنا إلا إحدى الحسنيين‏» two good things are meant for the Muslims, and in the hadith it is stated that one hardship cannot overcome two blessings. And Mujahid said «فانصب‏» means to strive in supplicating to your Lord. And it is narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said by «ألم نشرح‏ لك صدرك» is meant: We have opened your breast for Islam.
