The Book of Zakat
(حَرَامٌ عَلَى الْغَنِيِّ وَالصِّحِّيِّ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الصَّدَقَةَ، عَنْ طَرِيقِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ وَأَبِي دَاوُدَ)
(It is forbidden for a rich and healthy person to take sadaqah, narrations from Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood)
Hadith Number: 1830
1830 - وعن عبد الله بن عمرو قال: قال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -:"لا تحل الصدقة لغني ، ولا لذي مرة سوي"، رواه الترمذي وابو داود والدارمي.
Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying,“Sadaqa may not be given to a rich man, or to one who has strength and is sound in limb.”Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Darimi transmitted it.
