The Book of Sales and Trade
(العُمْرِيَّةُ مِلْكٌ لِمَنْ أُعْطِيَتْ لَهُ)
(Umra is the property of the one to whom it is given)
Hadith Number: 3011
3011 - وعنه قال: قال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: ايما رجل اعمر عمرى له ولعقبه فإنها للذي اعطيها لا يرجع إلى الذي اعطاها ; لانه اعطى عطاء وقعت فيه المواريث. متفق عليه.
He reported God’s Messenger as saying,“If anyone has property [ [given him for the use of himself and his descendants it belongs to the one to whom it is given and does not return to the one who gave it because he gave a gift which may be inherited.”(Bukhari and Muslim.)
