بَابُ مَا يَجُوزُ مِنَ الْغَضَبِ وَالشِّدَّةِ لأَمْرِ اللَّهِ:
(75) Chapter. What is allowed to say when one is angry or harsh for Allah’s sake.

Hadith Number: 6109
حدثنا يسرة بن صفوان، حدثنا إبراهيم، عن الزهري، عن القاسم، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: دخل علي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وفي البيت قرام فيه صور فتلون وجهه، ثم تناول الستر فهتكه، وقالت: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إن من اشد الناس عذابا يوم القيامة الذين يصورون هذه الصور".
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet entered upon me while there was a curtain having pictures (of animals) in the house. His face got red with anger, and then he got hold of the curtain and tore it into pieces. The Prophet said, "Such people as paint these pictures will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection ."

Hadith Number: 6110
حدثنا مسدد، حدثنا يحيى، عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد، حدثنا قيس بن ابي حازم، عن ابي مسعود رضي الله عنه، قال: اتى رجل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: إني لاتاخر عن صلاة الغداة من اجل فلان مما يطيل بنا، قال: فما رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قط اشد غضبا في موعظة منه يومئذ، قال: فقال:" يا ايها الناس إن منكم منفرين، فايكم ما صلى بالناس فليتجوز فإن فيهم المريض والكبير وذا الحاجة".
Narrated Abu Mas`ud: A man came to the Prophet and said "I keep away from the morning prayer only because such and such person prolongs the prayer when he leads us in it. The narrator added: I had never seen Allah's Apostle more furious in giving advice than he was on that day. He said, "O people! There are some among you who make others dislike good deeds) cause the others to have aversion (to congregational prayers). Beware! Whoever among you leads the people in prayer should not prolong it, because among them there are the sick, the old, and the needy." (See Hadith No. 670, Vol 1)

Hadith Number: 6111
حدثنا موسى بن إسماعيل، حدثنا جويرية، عن نافع، عن عبد الله رضي الله عنه، قال: بينا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي راى في قبلة المسجد نخامة فحكها بيده فتغيظ، ثم قال" إن احدكم إذا كان في الصلاة، فإن الله حيال وجهه، فلا يتنخمن حيال وجهه في الصلاة".
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: While the Prophet was praying, he saw sputum (on the wall) of the mosque, in the direction of the Qibla, and so he scraped it off with his hand, and the sign of disgust (was apparent from his face) and then said, "Whenever anyone of you is in prayer, he should not spit in front of him (in prayer) because Allah is in front of him."

Hadith Number: 6112
حدثنا محمد، حدثنا إسماعيل بن جعفر، اخبرنا ربيعة بن ابي عبد الرحمن، عن يزيد مولى المنبعث، عن زيد بن خالد الجهني، ان رجلا سال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن اللقطة، فقال:" عرفها سنة ثم اعرف وكاءها وعفاصها، ثم استنفق بها، فإن جاء ربها فادها إليه" قال: يا رسول الله فضالة الغنم، قال:" خذها فإنما هي لك او لاخيك او للذئب" قال: يا رسول الله فضالة الإبل، قال: فغضب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى احمرت وجنتاه او احمر وجهه، ثم قال:" ما لك ولها معها حذاؤها وسقاؤها حتى يلقاها ربها".
Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani: A man asked Allah's Apostle about "Al-Luqata" (a lost fallen purse or a thing picked up by somebody). The Prophet said, "You should announce it publicly for one year, and then remember and recognize the tying material of its container, and then you can spend it. If its owner came to you, then you should pay him its equivalent." The man said, "O Allah's Apostle! What about a lost sheep?" The Prophet said, "Take it because it is for you, for your brother, or for the wolf." The man again said, "O Allah's Apostle! What about a lost camel?" Allah's Apostle became very angry and furious and his cheeks became red (or his face became red), and he said, "You have nothing to do with it (the camel) for it has its food and its water container with it till it meets its owner."

Hadith Number: 6113
وقال المكي، حدثنا عبد الله بن سعيد. ح وحدثني محمد بن زياد، حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا عبد الله بن سعيد، قال: حدثني سالم ابو النضر مولى عمر بن عبيد الله، عن بسر بن سعيد، عن زيد بن ثابت رضي الله عنه، قال: احتجر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حجيرة مخصفة او حصيرا، فخرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي فيها فتتبع إليه رجال وجاءوا يصلون بصلاته، ثم جاءوا ليلة فحضروا وابطا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عنهم فلم يخرج إليهم، فرفعوا اصواتهم وحصبوا الباب فخرج إليهم مغضبا، فقال لهم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ما زال بكم صنيعكم حتى ظننت انه سيكتب عليكم، فعليكم بالصلاة في بيوتكم، فإن خير صلاة المرء في بيته إلا الصلاة المكتوبة".
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: Allah's Apostle made a small room (with a palm leaf mat). Allah's Apostle came out (of his house) and prayed in it. Some men came and joined him in his prayer. Then again the next night they came for the prayer, but Allah's Apostle delayed and did not come out to them. So they raised their voices and knocked the door with small stones (to draw his attention). He came out to them in a state of anger, saying, "You are still insisting (on your deed, i.e. Tarawih prayer in the mosque) that I thought that this prayer (Tarawih) might become obligatory on you. So you people, offer this prayer at your homes, for the best prayer of a person is the one which he offers at home, except the compulsory (congregational) prayer."
