The Book of Merits
(الشَّيْخَانِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا سَيَكُونَانِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي القِيَامَةِ)
(The two Sheikhs, may Allah be pleased with them, will be with the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, on the Day of Judgment)
Hadith Number: 6063
6063 - وعن ابن عمر - رضي الله عنهما - ان النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - خرج ذات يوم ودخل المسجد وابو بكر وعمر، احدهما عن يمينه، والآخر عن شماله، وهو آخذ بايديهما، فقال (هكذا نبعث يوم القيامة). رواه الترمذي، وقال: هذا حديث غريب.
Ibn `Umar told that the Prophet went out one day and entered the mosque with Abu Bakr and `Umar, one on his right and the other on his left, holding their hands. He said, "We shall be raised thus on the day of resurrection." Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a hasan gharib tradition.
