Hadith of Abu Burdah ibn Qays, the brother of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 15608
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا عبد الواحد بن زياد ، حدثنا عاصم الاحول ، حدثنا كريب بن الحارث بن ابي موسى , عن ابي بردة بن قيس اخي ابي موسى الاشعري , قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" اللهم اجعل فناء امتي في سبيلك بالطعن والطاعون".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Burdah bin Qais, who is the brother of Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: O Allah, decree the death of my Ummah in Your path by spears and in the state of plague.
