بَقِيَّةُ حَدِيثِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
The remainder of the hadith of al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah (may Allah be pleased with him)

(حديث مرفوع) قال عبد الله بن احمد: حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور ، قال: اخبرنا عبد الله بن مسلمة ، عن مالك ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة بن مسعود ، عن عبد الله بن عباس ، عن الصعب بن جثامة الليثي ، انه اهدى لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو بالابواء او بودان حمارا وحشيا، فرده عليه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلما راى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ما في وجهي، قال:" إنا لم نرده عليك إلا انا حرم".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jathamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me while I was at the place of Abwa or Waddan. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in the state of Ihram. I presented him with the meat of a wild donkey as a gift, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned it to me. When he saw signs of sadness on my face, he said that there is no reason for returning it except that we are in the state of Ihram.

(حديث مرفوع) قال عبد الله بن احمد: حدثنا إسحاق ، قال: اخبرنا ابو نعيم ، قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة ، عن الزهري ، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله ، عن ابن عباس ، عن الصعب بن جثامة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا حمى إلا لله ورسوله".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: It is not permissible for anyone except Allah and His Messenger to declare any area as a prohibited area.
