Musnad of the Syrians
حَدِیث اَبِی سَعِیدِ بنِ زَید، عن النَّبِیِّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَیهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of Abu Sa'id ibn Zayd, from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 17504
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن جابر ، قال: سمعت الشعبي ، قال اشهد على ابي سعيد بن زيد ،" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مرت به جنازة فقام" .
Imam Sha'bi, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I bear witness that I heard from Hazrat Abu Sa'id bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once a funeral passed near the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up.
تخریج الحدیث:
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لضعف جابر الجعفي، وهذا الحديث من مسند أبى سعيد الخدري، ونسبته إلى: أبى سعيد بن زيد وهم
