It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever wrongfully takes a portion of land, that person will be forced on the Day of Resurrection to carry its soil and bring it to the Plain of Gathering.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I set out on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to relieve himself, so he commanded two trees, and they came together. Then he commanded them again, and they returned to their places. In the same way, one day I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a camel came running and placed its neck before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then tears started flowing from its eyes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do you know what this camel is saying? It is saying that its owner wants to slaughter it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called its owner and said, "Will you gift it to me?" He said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) It is very dear to me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then treat it well." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) Now I will not take care of any of my wealth as much as I will take care of it." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a grave in which the deceased was being punished. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "He is not being punished for any major reason." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered a branch to be planted on his grave and said, "Perhaps as long as it remains fresh, his punishment will be lightened."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a grave and said that the one in this grave is being punished, but not for any major reason. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for a branch, placed it on the grave, and said: As long as it remains fresh, it is possible that the punishment will be lightened for him during that time.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to a meal at an invitation. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached those people, he saw that Hazrat Imam Hussain (may Allah be pleased with him) was playing with the children. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) moved forward to catch him, so Hazrat Imam Hussain (may Allah be pleased with him) would sometimes run this way and sometimes that way. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to make him laugh, until he caught him. Then he placed one hand under his neck and the other under his chin, and placed his blessed mouth on his mouth and said, "Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain. May Allah love the person who loves Hussain. Hussain is a complete group and tribe."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) came running to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) embraced them and said, "Children become a cause of miserliness and cowardice, and the last seizure that the Most Merciful inflicted upon the disbelievers was at the place of Waj." Benefit: Waj was the name of an area in Ta'if, after which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not undertake any expedition.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a woman brought her child to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) This child is suffering from an affliction which causes us distress." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) opened the child's mouth and put his saliva into it three times and said: "In the name of Allah! I am the servant of Allah. O enemy of Allah! Go away." The child was cured at that very moment. His mother presented two rams, some cheese, and some ghee to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Ya'la! Take the cheese, ghee, and one ram, and return the other."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day I went out towards the desert with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Upon reaching a certain place, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go to those two trees and tell them that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commands you, by Allah's permission, to come together." So I went to them and said this, and the two trees came together. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then relieved himself, and after returning, said, "Go and tell them that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commands you to return to your respective places." And so it happened.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la bin Marwah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have seen three such miracles of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which no one before me has seen, nor will anyone after me be able to see. One day I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a camel came running and, coming before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), lowered its neck and then tears started flowing from its eyes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Hey! See, whose camel is this? Its matter seems strange." So I went out in search of its owner and found out that he was an Ansari man. I called him and brought him to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "What is the matter with this camel?" He said, "By Allah, I do not know much, except that we used to work with it and bring water on it, but now it has become unable to bring water, so last night we decided to slaughter it and distribute its meat." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do not do so. Give it to me as a gift, or give me its price." He said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), it is yours." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) marked it as charity and sent it with them.

Then we set out, and at one place the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) camped and slept. A tree split the ground and came out, and shaded the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then after a while it went back. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up, I mentioned this to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "That tree asked its Lord for permission to greet me, which Allah granted it."

During the journey, we passed by a woman who had her child with her. She said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), this child has some affliction because of which we remain worried. During the day, it affects him many times." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Hand him to me." She handed him over. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seated the child between himself and the saddle, then opened his mouth and put his saliva in it three times, and said, "In the name of Allah! I am the servant of Allah. O enemy of Allah! Go away." Saying this, he handed the child back to his mother and said, "When we pass by this place again, bring him to us again and tell us how his condition has been." Then we moved on. On the return, when we reached there again, we saw three goats with that woman. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "How has your child been?" She replied, "By the One Who sent you with the truth, we have not felt his illness until now (and this is true)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever finds a lost item that is of little value, such as a dirham or a rope, should announce it for three days. If he wishes to increase this, he may announce it for up to six days.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that I do not think anyone has seen such miracles of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as I have seen. Then he mentioned the incidents of the child, the trees, and the camel. However, in this, it is also mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is the matter? Your camel is complaining about you that you used to load water on it and bring it, but now that it has become old, you want to slaughter it?" He said, "You are right, by the One Who sent you as a Prophet, this was indeed my intention, but now I will not do so."
