حَدِيثُ دَيْلَمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith of Daylam ibn Abdullah al-Himyari (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 18034
حدثنا الضحاك بن مخلد ، حدثنا عبد الحميد يعني ابن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن ابي حبيب ، حدثنا مرثد بن عبد الله اليزني ، قال: حدثنا الديلم ، انه سال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: إنا بارض باردة، وإنا لنستعين بشراب يصنع لنا من القمح. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ايسكر؟" قال: نعم. قال:" فلا تشربوه". فاعاد عليه، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ايسكر؟" قال: نعم. قال: فلا تشربوه. فاعاد عليه الثالثة، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ايسكر؟" قال: نعم. قال:" فلا تشربوه". قال: فإنهم لا يصبرون عنه. قال:" فإن لم يصبروا عنه فاقتلهم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Dailami (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this issue: "We live in a cold region, and to ward off the severity of the cold, we use a drink made from wheat." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Does drinking it cause intoxication?" We replied in the affirmative. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade drinking it. This question and answer occurred three times. The fourth time, he said, "People will not refrain from drinking it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If they do not refrain, then kill them."

حدثنا محمد بن عبيد ، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق ، عن يزيد بن ابي حبيب ، عن مرثد بن عبد الله اليزني ، عن ديلم الحميري ، قال: سالت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقلت: يا رسول الله، إنا بارض باردة نعالج بها عملا شديدا، وإنا نتخذ شرابا من هذا القمح، نتقوى به على اعمالنا وعلى برد بلادنا. قال: " هل يسكر؟" قلت: نعم. قال:" فاجتنبوه". قال: ثم جئت من بين يديه، فقلت له مثل ذلك. فقال:" هل يسكر؟" قلت: نعم. قال:" فاجتنبوه". قلت: إن الناس غير تاركيه. قال:" فإن لم يتركوه فاقتلوهم" .

حدثنا ابو بكر الحنفي ، حدثنا عبد الحميد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثني يزيد بن ابي حبيب ، عن مرثد بن عبد الله اليزني ، ان ديلما اخبرهم، انه سال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله، إنا بارض باردة، وإنا نشرب شرابا نتقوى به. فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" " هل يسكر؟" قال: نعم. قال: ثم اعاد عليه المسالة، قال:" هل يسكر؟" قال: نعم. قال:" فلا تقربوه". قال: فإنهم لن يصبروا عنه، قال:" فمن لم يصبر عنه فاقتلوه" .
