It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "I see that your companion has not come to you for quite some time." Upon this, the following verse was revealed: "Your Lord has neither forsaken you nor is He displeased."

It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a wound on his finger and blood started to flow from it. It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was present with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon after offering the Eid prayer and said: Whoever has offered the sacrifice before the Eid prayer should offer another sacrifice in its place, and whoever has not slaughtered the animal before the Eid prayer should now slaughter it taking the name of Allah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a Bedouin came, made his she-camel sit down, tied it, and joined the prayer behind the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). After finishing the prayer, he came to his mount, untied its rope, and mounted it. Then he loudly supplicated: "O Allah! Send Your mercy upon me and upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and do not include anyone else with us in this mercy." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the companions (may Allah be pleased with them): "Tell me, is this man more ignorant or his camel? Did you not hear what he said?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "Why not?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You wanted to limit Allah's vast mercy, whereas Allah Almighty has created one hundred mercies, of which He has sent down one mercy, and as a result, all creatures—jinn, humans, and even animals—show mercy and kindness to one another. The remaining ninety-nine mercies are with Him. Now tell me, is he more ignorant or his camel?"

It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man received a wound (in the battlefield). People picked him up and brought him home. When the pain became very severe for him, he took an arrow from his quiver and stabbed it into his own chest. When this was mentioned before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conveyed this statement of Allah Almighty: "My servant has hastened in the matter concerning himself ahead of Me."

It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was present with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned after offering the Eid al-Adha prayer. It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs the Fajr prayer comes under Allah’s protection, so do not take Allah’s protection lightly (as insignificant), and let it not be that He demands from you anything that is under His responsibility.
