بَقِيَّةُ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
The remainder of the hadith of Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 19122
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة . وحجاج ، حدثني شعبة ، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن ابي المجالد ، قال: اختلف عبد الله بن شداد، وابو بردة في السلف، فبعثاني إلى عبد الله بن ابي اوفى ، فسالته، فقال: " كنا نسلف في عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وابي بكر، وعمر رضي الله تعالى عنهم في الحنطة والشعير والزبيب او التمر شك في التمر والزبيب وما هو عندهم، او ما نراه عندهم، ثم اتيت عبد الرحمن بن ابزى، فقال مثل ذلك" .
Abdullah bin Abi Mujahid says that there was a difference of opinion between Hazrat Abdullah bin Shaddad (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the issue of credit sale. Both of them sent me to Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him). I asked him about this issue, and he said: In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the two Shaykhs (may Allah be pleased with them), we used to sell wheat, barley, raisins, or whatever things people had, on credit. Then I went to Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abzi (may Allah be pleased with him), and he also said the same thing.

Hadith Number: 19123
حدثنا حجاج ، قال: قال مالك يعني ابن مغول ، اخبرني طلحة ، قال: قلت لعبد الله بن ابي اوفى :" اوصى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قال: لا، قلت: فكيف امر المؤمنين بالوصية ولم يوص؟ قال: اوصى بكتاب الله عز وجل" .
Talhah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) make any will (wasiyyah)?" He replied, "No." I said, "Then how did he command the Muslims to make a will while he himself did not make one?" He replied, "The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made a will to act upon the Book of Allah (but did not make any specific will to anyone)."

Hadith Number: 19124
حدثنا هشيم ، اخبرنا الشيباني ، عن محمد بن ابي المجالد ، قال: بعثني اهل المسجد إلى ابن ابي اوفى " اساله ما صنع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في طعام خيبر، فاتيته فسالته عن ذلك، قال: وقلت: هل خمسه؟ قال: لا , كان اقل من ذلك، قال: وكان احدنا إذا اراد منه شيئا اخذ منه حاجته" .
Muhammad bin Abi Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, says that the people of the mosque sent me to Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa, may Allah be pleased with him, to ask what the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, did with the grain of Khaybar. So I went to him and asked: Did the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, take out the khums from it? He replied: No, it was much less than that amount, and whoever among us wanted, would take from it according to his need.

Hadith Number: 19125
حدثنا هشيم ، اخبرنا إسماعيل بن ابي خالد ، قال: قلت لعبد الله بن ابي اوفى ، صاحب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ادخل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم البيت في عمرته؟ قال: لا" .
Ismail bin Abi Khalid says that I asked Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) enter the House of Allah (the Ka'bah) during Umrah?" He replied, "No."

Hadith Number: 19126
حدثنا هشيم ، قال: الشيباني اخبرني، قال: قلت لابن ابي اوفى : " رجم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قال: نعم، يهوديا ويهودية، قال: قلت: بعد نزول النور او قبلها؟ قال: لا ادري" .
Shaibani says: I asked Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ever give the punishment of stoning to anyone?" He replied, "Yes, to a Jewish man and a Jewish woman." I asked, "Was it after Surah An-Nur was revealed or before?" He replied, "I do not remember that."

Hadith Number: 19127
حدثنا ابو معاوية ، حدثنا ابو إسحاق يعني الشيباني ، عن عبد الله بن ابي اوفى رضي الله تعالى عنه، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن اكل لحوم الحمر الاهلية" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys.

Hadith Number: 19128
حدثنا ابن نمير ، ويعلى ، المعنى، قالا: حدثنا إسماعيل ، قال: قلت لعبد الله بن ابي اوفى اكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بشر خديجة رضي الله تعالى عنها؟ قال: نعم، " بشرها ببيت في الجنة من قصب، لا صخب فيه ولا نصب" . قال يعلى: وقد قال مرة: لا صخب او لا لغو فيه ولا نصب.
Ismail, may Allah have mercy on him, says: I asked Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa, may Allah be pleased with him, did the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, give glad tidings to Hazrat Khadijah, may Allah be pleased with her? He replied: Yes! The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave her the glad tidings of a palace made of wood in Paradise, in which there will be neither noise nor fatigue.

Hadith Number: 19129
حدثنا يعلى ، حدثنا إسماعيل ، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن ابي اوفى ، يقول:" كنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حين اعتمر، فطاف وطفنا معه، وصلى وصلينا معه، وسعى بين الصفا، والمروة، وكنا نستره من اهل مكة لا يصيبه احد بشيء" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that we reached Makkah with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), performed the circumambulation of the House of Allah, and walked between Safa and Marwah, and during this time, in order to protect the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the harm of the polytheists, we kept him under our protection.

Hadith Number: 19130
حدثنا إسحاق بن يوسف ، عن الاعمش ، عن ابن ابي اوفى ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " الخوارج هم كلاب النار" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The Khawarij are the dogs of Hell."

حكم دارالسلام: إسناده ضعيف، الأعمش لم يسمع من عبد الله بن أبى أوفي
Hadith Number: 19131
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون ، اخبرنا إسماعيل ، عن عبد الله بن ابي اوفى ، قال: اعتمر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فطاف بالبيت وطفنا معه، وصلى خلف المقام، وصلينا معه، ثم خرج فطاف بين الصفا، والمروة ونحن معه نستره من اهل مكة، لا يرميه احد او يصيبه احد بشيء، قال: فدعا على الاحزاب، فقال: " اللهم منزل الكتاب، سريع الحساب، هازم الاحزاب، اللهم اهزمهم وزلزلهم" قال: ورايت بيده ضربة على ساعده، فقلت: ما هذه؟ قال: ضربتها يوم حنين، فقلت له: اشهدت معه حنينا؟ قال: نعم، وقبل ذلك .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that we reached Makkah Mukarramah with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), performed the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah, prayed behind Maqam Ibrahim, and performed the sa’i between Safa and Marwah. During this time, in order to protect the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the harm of the polytheists, we kept him in our protection. It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Ahzab, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated against the armies of the polytheists, saying:“O Allah, the One Who sent down the Book! The One Who quickly takes account! The One Who defeats the armies! Defeat them and shake them.”The narrator says that I saw a mark of a wound on the arm of Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), so I asked,“What is this?”He replied,“I received this during the Battle of Hunayn.”I asked him,“Did you participate in the Battle of Hunayn with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?”He replied,“Yes! In fact, I participated in the earlier battles as well.”
