حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of a man about the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 20059
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن الطفاوي ، حدثنا سعيد الجريري ، عن رجل من بني تميم واحسن الثناء عليه , عن ابيه ، او عمه، قال: " صليت خلف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فسالناه عن قدر ركوعه وسجوده، فقال: قدر ما يقول الرجل: سبحان الله وبحمده، ثلاثا" .
A man from Banu Tamim narrates from his father or uncle that I have prayed behind the Prophet (peace be upon him). We asked him about the duration of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) bowing and prostration, so he replied: As long as it takes a person to say "Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi" three times.
