أَوَّلُ مُسْنَدِ الْبَصْرِيِّينَ
First Part of Musnad of the Basrans
حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith of a man from the people of the desert (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 20589
حدثنا هشيم ، اخبرنا ابن عون ، حدثنا رجل من اهل البادية، عن ابيه ، عن جده ، انه حج مع ذي قرابة له مقترنا به، فرآه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال:" ما هذا؟" قال: إنه نذر، فامر بالقران ان يقطع .
It is narrated from a companion that he performed Hajj with a close relative in such a way that he had tied himself to him with a rope. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw this, he asked, "What is this?" It was told that he had made a vow. The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered the rope to be cut.
