So they sent for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) held the door's handles, he saw that a curtain was hanging in one corner of the house. As soon as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it, he turned back. Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "Go after him and ask the reason for his return." Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) followed and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why did you return?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "It is not appropriate for me or for any Prophet to enter a house which is adorned and decorated in such a manner."

The narrator of the hadith says: I asked Saeed bin Jumhan, "Where did you meet Hazrat Safina (may Allah be pleased with him)?" He said, "During the time of Hajjaj bin Yusuf, I met him in Batn Nakhlah, and I stayed with him for eight nights and kept asking him about the ahadith of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I also asked him his name, but he replied, 'I cannot tell you that. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) named me Safina.' I asked, 'Why did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) name you Safina?' He replied, 'Once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out with his companions (may Allah be pleased with them), their luggage was gathered and the bundle was loaded onto me. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "Carry it, for you are Safina (a ship)." That day, even if not one or two, but the load of seven camels had been placed on me, I would not have felt any burden, except if they had overburdened me.'"
