أَحَادِيثُ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadiths of Aisha, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)
Narration on Recitation during Menstruation
Hadith Number: 169
حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا منصور بن عبد الرحمن ، قال: اخبرتني امي صفية بنت شيبة ، عن عائشة , انها قالت:" إن كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ليضع راسه في حجر إحدانا، فيتلو القرآن وهي حائض" .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to place his blessed head in the lap of one of us (his noble wives) and recite the Holy Qur'an, even though that woman would be in the state of menstruation at that time.
