Hadith Number: 215
حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثني عثمان بن عروة بن الزبير ، قال: اخبرني ابي , انه سمع عائشة ، تقول: " طيبت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لحرمه ولحله، قلت: اي الطيب؟ قالت: باطيب الطيب" .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I applied perfume to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of entering into Ihram and at the time of exiting from Ihram. (The narrator says) I asked: Which perfume? She replied: The best of perfumes.
