حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا سليمان الاحول ، عن مجاهد ، عن ابي عياض ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص ، قال: " لما نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الاوعية، قيل: يا رسول الله , إنه ليس كل الناس يجد سقاء، فرخص لهم في الجر غير المزفت" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade the use of specific vessels, it was said: O Messenger of Allah! Not everyone has a water-skin. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) permitted the people to use such a jug that was not coated with pitch.
