حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا الزهري ، عن سالم ، عن ابيه ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " نهى عن بيع الثمر حتى يبدو صلاحه، ونهى عن بيع الثمر بالتمر" . قال قال ابن عمر : واخبرني زيد بن ثابت " ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رخص في العرايا" .
Salim narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade selling fruit before it ripens and forbade selling fruit in exchange for dates. Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reports: Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) informed me that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) permitted ‘ariyah transactions.
