وسمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " الصدقة على المسكين صدقة، وهي على ذي الرحم المسكين ثنتان صدقة وصلة" .
(Sayyiduna Salman bin Amir, may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Giving charity to a poor person is simply charity, but giving charity to a poor relative has two aspects: charity and maintaining family ties."
