حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن ابي خالد ، عن حكيم بن جابر الاحمسي ، عن ابيه ، قال: دخلت على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فرايت عنده الدباء، فقلت: ما هذا يا رسول الله؟ فقال:" نكثر به طعام اهلنا" .
Hakeem bin Jabir Ahmasi narrates from his father: I presented myself before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I saw that there was gourd (pumpkin) with him. I asked: O Messenger of Allah! Why is this? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "With this, we will increase the food (curry) for our family."
