حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن دينار ، قال: اخبرني ابو المنهال ، قال: سمعت إياس بن عبد المزني ، وراى اناسا يبيعون الماء، فقال لا تبيعوا الماء، فإني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" ينهى عن بيع الماء" , قال عمرو بن دينار: ولا ادري اي ماء هو؟ ,
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Iyas bin Abd Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw some people selling water, so he said: Do not sell water, for I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding the sale of water. Amr bin Dinar says: I do not know which type of water is meant by this?
