Hadith Number: 962
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة ، قال: حدثنا الزهري ، قال: اخبرني سعيد بن المسيب ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا امن القارئ فامنوا، فإن الملائكة تؤمن، فمن وافق تامينه تامين الملائكة، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the reciter (imam) says Ameen, you should also say Ameen. Because the angels also say Ameen, so whoever’s saying Ameen coincides with the angels’ saying Ameen, that person’s past sins are forgiven.
