حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ابو الزناد ، قال: اخبرني عبد الرحمن الاعرج ، قال: سمعت ابا هريرة ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا قلت لصاحبك يوم الجمعة، والإمام يخطب انصت فقد لغيت" , قال ابو الزناد: وهو لغة ابي هريرة وإنما هو لغوت.
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you say to your companion on the day of Jumu'ah, while the Imam is delivering the sermon, 'Be quiet,' then you have engaged in idle talk." Abu Zanad says: This is the wording of Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), otherwise the original word is "laghawt."
