بَابُ لُبْسِ الْمُحْرِمِ الْمِنْطَقَةِ
Wearing a belt by the Muhrim (pilgrim in Ihram)
Hadith Number: 715
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) considered it disliked for a muhrim to tie a belt.

وحدثني، عن مالك، عن يحيى بن سعيد ، انه سمع سعيد بن المسيب ، يقول في المنطقة يلبسها المحرم تحت ثيابه: " انه لا باس بذلك إذا جعل طرفيها جميعا سيورا يعقد بعضها إلى بعض" .
قال مالك: وهذا احب ما سمعت إلي في ذلك

It is narrated from Yahya bin Saeed that Saeed bin Musayyib used to say that if a person in the state of Ihram ties a belt under his clothes, there is nothing wrong with it, as long as both ends have straps that are tied to each other.
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: I have heard this narration as very good in this chapter.
