بَابُ تَحْرِيمِ أَكْلِ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ
Prohibition of eating every predatory animal with fangs
Hadith Number: 1048
حدثني يحيى، عن مالك، عن ابن شهاب ، عن ابي إدريس الخولاني ، عن ابي ثعلبة الخشني ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " اكل كل ذي ناب من السباع حرام"
It is narrated from Abu Tha'labah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The flesh of every predatory animal with fangs is forbidden."

Hadith Number: 1049
وحدثني، عن مالك، عن إسماعيل بن ابي حكيم ، عن عبيدة بن سفيان الحضرمي ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " اكل كل ذي ناب من السباع حرام" . قال مالك: وهو الامر عندنا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The flesh of every predatory animal with fangs is forbidden." Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said that this is also our ruling.
