عمر بن عبد العزيز عن سعيد بن المسيب
Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib
بَابُ بَيَانِ لَعْنِ الْوَاصِلَةِ وَالْمَوْصُولَةِ وَالْوَاشِمَةِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَةِ لِلْحُسْنِ
Chapter: Clarification of the curse upon the hair-joiner, the one who seeks hair-joining, the tattooer, the one who seeks tattoos, and the one who spaces teeth for beauty
Hadith Number: 26
حدثنا احمد بن عمرو ابو الطاهر ، ويونس بن عبد الاعلى ، واحمد بن عبد الرحمن , قالوا: ثنا عبد الله بن وهب ، قال: اخبرني عبد الجبار بن عمر , ان ابن شهاب حدثه , ان عمر بن عبد العزيز حدثه , عن إبراهيم بن عبد الله بن قارظ ، قال: سمعت معاوية بن ابي سفيان وهو على المنبر بالمدينة، يقول: اين فقهاؤكم يا اهل المدينة؟ إني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عند منبره ينهى عن مثل هذه القصة، ثم وضعها على راسه، فلم ارها على عروس عند عرس ولا غيره اجمل منها على معاوية، يقول: " لعن الله الواشمة والمستوشمة، والمتنمصة والنامصة، والواشرة والمستوشرة" .
Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Qariz narrated: I heard Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with them) saying from the pulpit in Madinah Tayyibah: "O people of Madinah, where are your jurists? I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbidding doing the hair in this manner near the pulpit." Then he placed a wig on his hair and demonstrated. I have not seen anyone, on the occasion of a wedding or otherwise, with hair as beautiful as that of Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "May Allah curse the woman who tattoos and the one who gets tattooed, the one who plucks facial hair (makes eyebrows) and the one who gets them plucked (has her eyebrows made), and the one who files teeth and the one who gets them filed."
