Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْوُضُوءِ وَسُنَنِهِ
Chapters on Wudu and its Sunnahs
( 114) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ الْمَضْمَضَةِ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقِ مِنْ غَرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، وَالْوُضُوءُ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً
Chapter 114: Permissibility of rinsing the mouth and nose with one handful, and ablution once each
Hadith Number: 148
نا عبد الله بن سعيد الاشج ، حدثنا ابن إدريس ، نا ابن عجلان ، عن زيد بن اسلم ، عن عطاء بن يسار ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: رايت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " توضا، فغرف غرفة، فمضمض واستنشق، ثم غرف غرفة فغسل وجهه، ثم غرف غرفة فغسل يده اليمنى، وغرف غرفة فغسل يده اليسرى، وغرف غرفة فمسح راسه وباطن اذنيه وظاهرهما، وادخل اصبعيه فيهما، وغرف غرفة فغسل رجله اليمنى، وغرفة فغسل رجله اليسرى"
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performing ablution, so he took a handful of water and rinsed his mouth and put water into his nose, then took a handful and washed his blessed face with it, then took a handful and washed his right hand with it, then took another handful and washed his left hand, and then took another handful and wiped his head and wiped the inner and outer parts of his ears and inserted his fingers into them, then took a handful and washed his right foot and with another handful washed his left foot.
