Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْوُضُوءِ وَسُنَنِهِ

( 136) بَابُ التَّغْلِيظِ فِي غَسْلِ أَعْضَاءِ الْوُضُوءِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ،
Chapter 136: Sternness in washing ablution parts more than three times
Hadith Number: Q174
والدليل على ان فاعله مسيء ظالم او متعد ظالم.
And the evidence that one who does so is a wrongdoer or an excessive wrongdoer.

نا يعقوب بن إبراهيم الدورقي ، حدثنا الاشجعي ، عن سفيان ، عن موسى بن ابي عائشة ، عن عمرو بن شعيب ، عن ابيه ، عن جده : ان اعرابيا اتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فساله عن الوضوء، فتوضا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثلاثا ثلاثا، فقال:" من زاد فقد اساء وظلم ، او اعتدى وظلم"
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, that a Bedouin came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and asked him about ablution. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed ablution three times each, then said: "Whoever does more than this has done wrong and acted unjustly, or he has exceeded the limit and acted unjustly."
