(195) بَابُ إِفْرَاغِ الْمَرْأَةِ الْمَاءَ عَلَى يَدِ زَوْجِهَا لِيَغْسِلَ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ إِدْخَالِهِمَا الْإِنَاءَ إِذَا أَرَادَ الِاغْتِسَالَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ
Chapter 195: Woman pouring water on her husband’s hands to wash them before putting them in the vessel for bathing

نا عمران بن موسى القزاز ، نا عبد الوارث يعني ابن سعيد ، عن يزيد وهو رشك ، عن معاذة وهي العدوية ، قالت: سالت عائشة : اتغتسل المراة مع زوجها من الجنابة من الإناء الواحد جميعا؟ قالت:" الماء طهور ولا يجنب الماء شيء، لقد كنت اغتسل انا ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في الإناء الواحد"، قالت:" ابداه فافرغ على يديه من قبل ان يغمسهما في الماء"
Sayyida Mu’adh ‘Adawiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I asked Sayyida ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her),“Can a woman perform ghusl of janabah together with her husband from the same vessel?”She replied,“Water is pure and nothing makes water impure. I and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to perform ghusl from the same vessel.”She said,“I would begin for the Prophet (peace be upon him), so I would pour water on his hands before he put them into the water.”
