Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ تَطْهِيرِ الثِّيَابِ بِالْغَسْلِ مِنَ الْأَنْجَاسِ
Chapters on Purifying Clothes from Impurities
(217) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الِاقْتِصَارَ مِنْ غَسْلِ الثَّوْبِ الْمَلْبُوسِ فِي الْمَحِيضِ عَلَى غَسْلِ أَثَرِ الدَّمِ مِنْهُ جَائِزٌ،
Chapter 217: Evidence that it is sufficient to wash only the blood stain from a worn garment
Hadith Number: Q278
وإن لم يحك موضع الدم بضلع، ولا قرص موضعه بالاظفار، وإن لم يغسل بسدر ايضا، ولا رش ما لم يصب الدم من الثوب، وان جميع ما امر به من قرص بالاظفار، وحك بالاضلاع، وغسل بالسدر، امر اختيار واستحباب، وان غسل الدم من الثوب مطهر للثوب وتجزئ الصلاة فيه
Even if the place of blood is not scraped with wood, nor rubbed with nails, nor washed with lotus (berry) leaves, and the part which the blood did not touch, even if water is not sprinkled on it. And rubbing with nails, scraping with wood, and washing with lotus leaves is optional and recommended. And indeed, by washing the blood from the garment, the garment becomes pure and clean, and it is sufficient to pray in it.

Hadith Number: 278
نا نا احمد بن ابي سريج الرازي ، اخبرنا ابو احمد ، نا المنهال بن خليفة ، عن خالد بن سلمة ، عن مجاهد ، عن ام سلمة ، انها قالت، او قيل لها: كيف كنتن تصنعن بثيابكن إذا طمثتن على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قالت:" إن كنا لنطمث في ثيابنا، وفي دروعنا، فما نغسل منها إلا اثر ما اصابه الدم، وإن الخادم من خدمكم اليوم ليتفرغ يوم طهرها لغسل ثيابها"
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said, or it was said to her: When you became menstruating during the blessed time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), how did you clean your clothes? She said: We would become menstruating in our clothes and shirts, so we would wash only that part of them which had blood on it. And indeed, today, one of your servants among the servants becomes free on the day of her purification just to wash her clothes.
