جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْأَفْعَالِ الْمُبَاحَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ

(342) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ حَدِيثَ النَّفْسِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ مِنْ غَيْرِ نُطْقٍ بِاللِّسَانِ، لَا يُفْسِدُ الصَّلَاةَ،
342 Chapter: Evidence That Inner Thoughts in Prayer without Moving the Tongue Do Not Invalidate the Prayer.

إذ الله برافته ورحمته قد تجاوز لامة محمد عما حدثت به انفسها
Because Allah Almighty, out of His kindness and mercy, has forgiven the inner thoughts of the heart of the Ummah of Muhammad.

Hadith Number: 898
نا بندار ، نا سالم بن نوح ، نا يونس بن عبيد ، عن زرارة بن اوفى ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" إن الله تجاوز لامتي عما حدثت به انفسها ما لا ينطق به، ولا يعمل به"
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted has forgiven my Ummah for what occurs in their hearts (thoughts and whispers that come to the heart) as long as they do not speak of them or act upon them."
