جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْأَفْعَالِ الْمَكْرُوهَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الَّتِي قَدْ نُهِيَ عَنْهَا الْمُصَلِّي

(366) بَابُ ذِكْرِ نَقْصِ الصَّلَاةِ بِالِالْتِفَاتِ فِيهَا،
366 Chapter: Mentioning the Deficiency in Prayer Due to Turning Away in It.
Hadith Number: Q931
والدليل على ان الالتفات فيها لا يوجب إعادتها
And the explanation of the evidence that turning the face during prayer does not make it obligatory to repeat the prayer.

نا محمد بن عثمان العجلي ، حدثنا عبيد الله يعني ابن موسى ، عن شيبان ، ح وحدثنا محمد بن عمرو بن تمام المصري ، نا يوسف بن عدي ، حدثنا ابو الاحوص جميعا، عن اشعث وهو ابن ابي الشعثاء ، عن ابيه ، عن مسروق ، عن عائشة ، قالت: سالت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن التفات الرجل في الصلاة، فقال:" هو اختلاس يختلسه الشيطان من صلاة العبد" وفي حديث عبيد الله عن الالتفات في الصلاة
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about looking here and there during prayer. He (peace be upon him) said: "That is snatching, which Satan snatches from a servant's prayer." In the narration of Ubaidullah, the words are: I asked about turning one's face during prayer.
