جماع أَبْوَابِ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ بِاللَّيْلِ
Chapters on Night Voluntary Prayers
(508) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ قِرَاءَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَالزُّمَرِ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ اسْتِنَانًا بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
The chapter on the recommendation to recite Surah Bani Isra'il and Az-Zumar every night, following the Prophet
Hadith Number: Q1163
إن كان ابو لبابة هذا يجوز الاحتجاج بخبره فإني لا اعرفه بعدالة ولا جرح
If it is permissible to take evidence from the narration of Abu Lubabah, because I do not know about his authentication or criticism.

نا احمد بن عبدة ، اخبرنا حماد يعني ابن زيد ، حدثنا ابو لبابة ، سمع عائشة ، تقول: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يصوم حتى نقول ما يريد ان يفطر، ويفطر حتى نقول ما يريد ان يصوم، وكان يقرا كل ليلة بني إسرائيل، والزمر"
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would observe (voluntary) fasts continuously to the extent that we would say that he does not want to leave fasting, and he would leave (voluntary) fasting continuously to the extent that we would say that he does not want to fast. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Bani Isra'il and Surah Az-Zumar every night.
