The chapter on the number of units the Prophet prayed at night
Hadith Number: Q1164
بعض من لم يتبحر العلم انه خلاف بعض اخبار عائشة في عدد صلاة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالليل
Some of those who have not deeply mastered knowledge think that it contradicts some of the reports of Aisha regarding the number of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) prayers at night.

Hadith Number: 1164
حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، نا محمد بن جعفر ، نا شعبة ، عن ابي جمرة ، قال: سمعت ابن عباس ، يقول: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يصلي من الليل ثلاث عشرة ركعة" . حدثناه الصنعاني محمد بن عبد الاعلى ، حدثنا خالد يعني ابن الحارث ، عن شعبة ، عن ابي جمرة ، عن ابن عباس بمثله
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray thirteen rak‘ahs (units) of (the night prayer) Tahajjud at night.

حدثنا إبراهيم بن سعيد الجوهري ، نا يحيى بن سعيد الاموي ، عن يحيى بن سعيد الانصاري ، عن شرحبيل بن سعد ، انه سمع جابر بن عبد الله : ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " صلى بعد العتمة ثلاث عشرة ركعة"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed thirteen rak‘ahs after the ‘Isha prayer.
